Open for business

June 16.

Being open is a good thing. As an open company, we regard it as a fundamental corporate value that our employees and our partners are judged solely on the basis of their actions and their work performance, and without regard for their sex, age, sexual orientation, national or ethnic background, political convictions, physical abilities, or other characteristics.

Open for business

Discrimination against LGBT+ people has a detrimental effect on employees and runscounter to the interests of businesses in Hungary. 63% of Hungarian companies are actively committed to diversity and inclusion in their workplaces; they understand that open workplace culture is good for their colleagues, and diversity and inclusion is also good for business. Conversely, the evidence shows that policies designed to exclude minorities such as the LGBT+ community have a negative impact, not only on people, but on business perf ormance as well as national economic competitiveness. As a coalition of companies – both multinational and Hungarian employers – we believe it is imperative to draw a ttention to the economic and business case for diversity and inclusion in Hungary.
